Hi, I'm Uddant
I am a student at Harvey Mudd College studying maths and CS.
In particular, I am obsessed with all things algorithmicThis includes but is not limited to (and only kind of in order of preference): randomized, exact-exponential, online, learning, combinatorial optimization, game-theoretic, parallel, and approximation algorithms.
I have been very lucky to get to work on some cool projects with equally cool advisors. I am currently working with Prof. Teal on designing algorithms to beat state-of-the-art estimators for Shapley values on arbitrary gamesAlthough more interestingly on black box ML models to help with interpretability of AI.
I have been mentored by Prof. Tim Randolph on designing exact exponential algorithms for NP-Hard problems from algebraic and additive combinatorics.
I've also gotten to explore applied ML/stats research with Prof. Susan Martonosi focused on quantitatively analyzing data for public health, and quantum entanglement research focused on simulations and data analysis with Prof. Jason Gallicchio.
